She first earned her Hearing Specialist license in Virginia before continuing her licensing in North Carolina, where she lives with her husband, Colby, and their two daughters, Ryan and Chandler.
From the moment Kadie entered the world of hearing healthcare, she knew she had found meaningful work. She quickly discovered how deeply hearing loss affects not only communication, but confidence, relationships, and quality of life. Her passion for her profession grows year after year, driven by the impact she is able to make on each patient she meets. She is committed to helping as many people as possible rediscover clarity, connection, and joy through better hearing.
One of Kadie’s favorite parts of her work is witnessing the moment a patient hears clearly for the first time in a long while—an experience she describes as the heart of her purpose. Often, she meets individuals who arrive quiet, hesitant, or withdrawn, barely engaging in conversation with her or their family members. But everything changes when their hearing aids are activated. As soon as they hear their loved one’s voice with newfound clarity, their entire expression shifts. Their eyes brighten, their posture lifts, and their personality begins to shine through again. That transformation—seeing someone come back to life through sound—is what inspires Kadie every single day. She shows up for that moment.
Outside of Beltone, Kadie is happiest spending time with her family. Whether swimming, boating, or simply relaxing outdoors, she loves being in or near the water and soaking in the warm North Carolina sunshine. These moments help her recharge and stay grounded, allowing her to bring compassion, energy, and positivity to every patient interaction.
